Policing Central Hampshire
Central Area is the Constabulary's geographical command for Central Hampshire. Its seven district commands cover Downmere, Asheford, Chalkbourne, Berehurst, Camberreach, Redham and Hartport. Each district has defined neighbourhood policing teams and operates with the response and local investigation services assigned to it.
The Area Crime Team supports cross-district and proactive investigations. The Area Neighbourhood Enforcement Team provides proactive neighbourhood enforcement, while the Missing Locate Team supports the locate function in missing-person investigations. These teams supplement the district commands rather than replacing their neighbourhood teams.
