Contact Management Centres

Contact Management Centres deal with reports and enquiries received by the Constabulary. Staff speak to callers, receive online submissions, take the initial details of incidents and record the information needed to decide the next action.

How we work

A report may be resolved with advice, passed for further enquiries, referred for crime recording or sent to the Police Control Room when officers need to attend. The centres work with neighbourhood teams, district investigators and other public services. Staff use the force's agreed assessment and recording procedures to make sure reports reach the right team.

Reporting and enquiries

Members of the public should use the Report, Tell us about or Contact us services rather than trying to reach a particular contact centre.
