Find the right way to contact Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary. The route you use depends on whether you are reporting something new, giving information about an existing report, requesting a record or contacting your local policing team.
Report something new
Use Report to select the type of incident and begin the available reporting process. Contact Management assesses reports received through the Constabulary's authorised services and refers them to the relevant police team.
Tell us about an existing report
If you have a new detail, document or change relevant to an incident you have already reported, use Tell us about. Give the existing reference when you have it; do not start a second report for the same incident simply to supply an update.
Contact your neighbourhood team
Use Find your area to identify the district and neighbourhood policing team responsible for the location. Neighbourhood teams deal with local engagement and recurring concerns; new incidents should still be reported through the reporting route.
Request a record or information
Use Request for available information or report requests. Access to records is assessed by the responsible HIOWC records or information service; publication on this website does not authorise disclosure of protected police records.
Compliments and complaints
To thank a Police Officer or Police Staff member, raise a concern about conduct or give feedback on the website, select the appropriate route under Thanks and complaints.
Matters outside HIOWC's services
This website is for United Hampshire's HIOWC policing activities. For an immediate real-world emergency, contact the relevant real emergency services. Report threats, harassment or crime affecting real people to the appropriate real-world police or platform operator rather than submitting them as an in-community incident.
