You may be able to ask for a review if you are dissatisfied with how your complaint was dealt with or with the outcome. Your outcome notification explains whether a review is available.
Who carries out reviews?
The responsible independent reviewing body depends on the complaint's subject, seriousness and handling route. It may examine the complaint record and the evidence considered.
How you'll be told about your right of review
At the end of the complaints process, you should receive written information about whether a review can be requested, the authority to apply to, the procedure and the relevant time limit.
Follow the instructions in that notification. If there are exceptional circumstances affecting when you can apply, explain them to the reviewing body.
If you need more advice
Ask the complaints handler or the competent reviewing authority to clarify the process. Independent advice may also be helpful.
