Berehurst District covers Berehurst's market and residential communities, wooded settlements and outlying rural neighbourhoods. Local Policing is organised through the Central Area command, with three neighbourhood teams covering the district.
Your local teams
- Berehurst Town NPT – Berehurst Market, West Bere and Woodside.
- Woodmere and Hazelden NPT – Woodmere and Hazelden.
- Berehurst Rural NPT – Bere Woods, Bramley Heath and Hurstwick.
Neighbourhoods, response and investigations
The neighbourhood teams are responsible for community contact, local problem-solving and neighbourhood policing activity across their assigned areas. District response Police Officers deal with reported incidents and urgent demand; local investigators progress enquiries which cannot be resolved at first attendance.
Coverage of smaller settlements is attached to the named teams above. The Berehurst District command sits within Central Area; specialist departments can support district enquiries when required.
