Specialist Crime Command
Specialist Crime Command leads and supports investigations into the most serious and complex offences. It brings together specialist investigation teams for major crime, sexual offences, cybercrime, economic crime and other enquiries needing particular expertise.
How we work
Specialist investigators support local officers when an investigation involves serious harm, complex evidence, multiple victims, organised offending or enquiries across policing areas. The command also provides investigative guidance and support to help cases meet required standards. Its teams work with safeguarding services, forensic specialists, intelligence staff and the criminal justice system.
Reporting and enquiries
New information about a crime should be submitted through Report or Tell us about. Specialist investigators receive work through the force's investigative arrangements.
